Calizio presents himself as a modern athlete with blood-influenced elegance and correct conformation. His three above-average basic gaits and his natural overview at the jump reveal his talent at an early stage. He impressed across the board in his sport test and received an overall score of 8.60—including an 8.80 for technique and 8.60 for scope.

Thanks to his excellent movement mechanics, he also brings valuable qualities for eventing.

In 2025, Calizio made his debut in competition sport and showed himself at his very best. He won several young horse jumping classes up to medium (M) level, secured qualification for the Bundeschampionat, and the majority of his performances were rewarded with scores above 8.0. In addition, he achieved third place in the Future Championship at the Springflut Festival in Hörup.

On the dam’s side, valuable attributes such as energy and stamina are contributed through Alant—a son of the Thoroughbred Armand xx. The granddam V-Dolly has already produced several successful S-level sport horses, and her dam G-Casablanca is the full sister of the exceptional sire and sport horse Clinton I.

His first crop of foals has shown great promise, producing attractive and high-quality offspring.
