Del Piero I

One of the most important stallions in modern show jumping pony breeding! At the age of five, he became Vice Bundeschampion—a success he repeated again at six years old. Among his special highlights are several victories in the Bundeschampionat for young horses, each achieved with different riders. Together with Jolie Marie Kühner, the stallion celebrated outstanding successes and was a permanent member of German teams at European and German Championships, as well as a participant in numerous Nations Cups.

His offspring stand for consistent quality and willingness to perform. To date, he has sired eleven licensed sons and produced the Bundeschampion of show jumping ponies in 2021, 2022, and 2023. Del Piero descendants are also represented at the highest level of international pony sport.

In 2025, the Del Piero offspring Del Toro K (Malte Merschformann) finished second in the Nations Cup held as part of the Future Champions event, which was followed by selection for the German team at the Pony European Championships. Other successful offspring include Cookie Dough (Ava Ferch), who became German Vice Champion in 2024.

Sire Dexter Leam Pondi was both French and Italian champion, won numerous Grand Prix competitions, and achieved three victories and two medals at European Championships. Dam Monique also produced Del Piero I and II, as well as the premium stallion Melvin and another licensed young stallion, Ghost, who shows promising talent for upper-level pony sport.
